HELP! I'm new to chickens and have 6 3 week old pullets in a brooder, and was just given 2 7-8 week old's. The older ones had been outside in a coop, and they stayed in my coop last night. Tonight and for the next few days, the weather is supposed to drop below freezing at night and I feel the need to bring the older chicks inside. Can I put them in a crate near the little ones? Or, does the quarantine need to be in separate areas?
