Can i raise bantam in this aquarium till processing or is it too small?

Bantams are hardly used as meat. Actually I've never heard of people eating bantams. Bantams, like they said above, are ornamental birds. They're pretty much just for show/fun. These birds aren't being taken care of properly as chicks and probably need a new home. If you advertise them to go to a good home, chances are they will. Request that its a local deal only.

Japanese bantams are expensive breeds. Very valuable as adults due to the rarity. Sell them, I wouldn't butcher them.

What you mean i dont understand they had all the care they need since i have them...and if i get them a new home they will get eat anyway

I will surely try to sell them but right now i am having fun and learning alot i dont want to get rid of them.

I don't think anyone is pushing you to get rid of them per-say. I think the line is more that you probably shouldnt eat them or keep them in an aquarium their whole lives. I have raised Japanese Bantams, sold them last year (Unfortunately they turned out to be not so popular here, to bad because I thought they looked awesome). Those are some VERY tiny birds and most of what you do see will be feathers. I think the two of them together would probably provide enough meat to make a sandwich and what you pay to grow them out will cost more than buying chicken at the store.

Are you here in the US? Is the reason for the aquarium / bantams because you are in an urban setting?

You don't seem to understand that people don't eat bantams. They're a miniature breed. They won't get very big. People won't eat them because they're not big breeds with a lot of meat. Judging by the picture, they aren't getting the care they need. They need bedding, the flat surface is bad for their legs. They need heat to keep warm. They need a constant supply of fresh food and water. They need their bedding cleaned regularly. Baby chickens are a lot of work.

What you should do is sell these ones. You CAN get money for them. You CAN request that its a local sale only so you don't have to drive an hour. The person you sell them to will take good care of them and they WON'T eat them. In the meantime, you need to read everything you can about taking care of chickens.

It's not fair to these chicks to be kept like this. You need to do the adult thing and give them to a new home. Read about taking care of chickens and once you're ready, you can try again.

I can provide them a bedding i will put hay and they have acces to all they need i agree that its not the space they need...do you think hay would make a good bedding?
