Hi there! I Like birds so i thought to buy some guineas, but i can't take risk of losing them, one of my friend bought two guineas and he free range them after two months, but those guineas never came back, and been heard that they have been hunted down, i have only 200 sq mtrs of free space and can't make a huge home for them, because my mom will not allow me, the only place i can give them is the corner, so can i keep them in a small woden box for lifetime and will they be happy there? I already own some quails in a small woden box and the same can be made for them, i have seen many peoples doing so, but i want to know will they get stressed if housed in a small box, it could hold about 6 guineas roughly but i think to put only 2 can i do so?

Guineas require at a minimum 4 sq. ft. (0.37 sq. meters) of free floor space per bird. They also like to roost on high places. Just because you can house quail and some chickens in small spaces does not mean it will work with other poultry. Forgot about having guineas if those are the conditions that you wish to place them in.

Okay, so they can't live in the boxes, i have one question if free ranging them will they run away? Also if kept for over 2 months? Bcoz only at some distances a big land also be called as jungle is there, will they go and live there? Chances are that they won't come? Pls help!

Odds are good that they will leave. Guineas are happy as a flock, and they need a lot of room. They are much happier in a big crowd with lots of space. You may get lucky, but maybe not
