can I run a Y with electric fence wire??

I have a dog that is not only digging but jumping if she didn't protect the chickens I would have given her the boot. But she is really good with them. But anyway can I run a split off of the wire and run it up and then back along the top of the fence?

You can run as many Y's and T's as you like. But don't loop it back around to join the fence again (they should all be dead ends).

What Momo said. You can split, y or what ever just as long as each one is a dead end.
