Can I safely breed half-siblings?

Hi, I have 5 pullets and a cockerel from the same hatch. They share a father but come from different hens. From what I’ve read it’s okay to breed parent to sibling or sibling to sibling for a couple of generations, so I think I should be fine but thought I’d ask! Thanks!

I think that'd be fine, are you looking for traits or just to get chicks?
If you're looking for traits I would consider it line breeding, just to get chicks I would say it's inbreeding but it wouldn't hurt to do it for a couple generations

Yes just to get chicks. Just don’t want to do any harm to the offspring.
