Me and my wife are moving to wonderful Cobb County Ga in about a month. I recently found out that you have to have at least 2 acres of land to have chickens. We unfortunately do not have 2+ acres of land but we all know it is very easy to keep chickens on much less land than that. Is there any way I can go about getting this law changed to accommodate us urban dwellers? I don't want to lose my chickens HELP!!!

I don't see why not! Get in touch with the people in Atlanta and Decauter who organize the "chicks in the city" tours of coops for advice. They're easy to find if you google them. Chickens are ALL OVER Atlanta!

It's a matter of educating people, but you have to be willing to work at it. There are many people around the country working on it and some great success stories.

Good luck!
