I have both roosts made from 2x3 lumber (in the coop) and from tree branches (in the run). The bars in the coop are removable via a "hook and loop" attachment using a hook and eye screws - stole the idea from the internet. The structure is a simple "ladder" and though there's no triangulation they don't seem to have any issues with strength or wobbling
