Hi everyone! I have some beautiful mixed breeds growing up right now. A bunch of them are from an australorp hen and the rooster is questionable, lol. I would love to see your Australorp mixed breeds!

He's cute. I don't have any Australorp mixes, but I did have some straight Australorps last year. Which breeds are possibly his father?

They are eggs I hatched from my friends farm. All of her chickens are heritage breeds, either pure or mixed. I know she has a big mixed rooster and a barred Plymouth rock rooster. (Likely some other roosters too lol)

The one with the headspot showing barring on the wings came from a barred parent. Mixes are tough, especially when they are mixes of mixes. Are Australorps the only kind of hens she has? I can tell you they aren't Leghorn x Australorp mixes, lol.

She has quite a few different hens but these guys did hatch out of australorp eggs

Thank you! They're very ornery, feisty little things. I'm really I didn't hatch all cockerels. That would be much luck though.....I hope you update as they grow, looks like you're going to have some gorgeous mixes!
