I am still trying to decide what to do for boxes and would love to see what others have done. Looking for inexpensive ideas.

Also, how many would you build for about 15 hens?

For 15 hens three large ones, not the minimum 12” x 12”, should work, but four is a good number.

There are several threads on here like you are talking about. Here are some but a search could probably find more. A lot of the pictures have disappeared but a lot are still there.

Made ours 14"x14" and height goes from 14" in front to 22" in back. They are still too young to use them however.
