Can I see your perches?

(I hope that isnt too personal..

) Im thinking about how Im going to set up my roosting perches in my brand new little chicky house. Im thinking of building a ladder type perch that I can lean against one of the walls, so I can move it to clean out under it. Im thinking of putting a 2 x 4 on the ground to set the perch inside, and then a 2 x 4 against the wall to lean it on. Any other ideas, such as how big it should be? What size perch do chickies hang on to the best? Can they be too big? Too small? Any pictures anyone would like to contribute would be appreciated...Im a very visual person.

Here you go. The first few on top came from a very heavy pallet and we pulled out nails and sanded them smoother. The rest are sanded 2x4s.

these are mine, the floor beneath the wire slides out for easy cleaning. I have to clean it out only about once ever 3-4 months.

This is the real roosts that I built, it is logs/branches about 3 inches in diameter

This is where the guineas decided they wanted to roost so about 1/2 the chickens have joined them in the rafters
