Someone bought my rooster of 2 months all paid. I just spoke to the post office and they said they cannot guarantee overnight b/c the destination is so remote. They can guarantee 2 days. My cockerel is accustomed to watermelon, but I'm still so concerned. Can he make the trip?

I would NOT ship any birds in this heat. Once it is cooler birds can be shipped that take 2 days but not now, no way. I suggest you ask them to wait or else offer a refund if they cannot wait.

That is why I am not shipping any birds right now. When it is time to ship apples quartered, then fork pierced and soaked in pedialyte overnight are a much better choice. It says right on the shipping box not to ship in temps like this.

How long would you wait? Until Fall? It's pretty moderate here (CA) and in Florida, the destination. Both places are in the 70's.
