Hi!
I have one batch of quail eggs going into lockdown today and another in the same incubator that are 7 days old. How harmful would it be to stop turning the younger batch once the older batch starts hatching? Would it be better to continue to turn them quickly? The staggered hatch wasn't my ideal situation but my first order of eggs would have been too old if I had waited for the second. Thanks for any advice!

You need to keep turning the others if they're only Day 7 (and putting your incubator into lockdown now with some only at Day 7 might mean sacrificing them as you raise the humidity and hatch the others). This is why if you set multiple different hatches you should have a separate incubator dedicated to lockdown and hatching.
