Can I switch to layer?

Hey everyone I have 10 sex links that are 15 weeks old. They just finished there bag of grower mash. I went out and bought a bag of grower mash and a bag of puriena layer pellets. Can I just start the layer pellets and return the mash? I don't want to open two if I don't have to.

I wouldn't; too much calcium this soon. I'd feed the grower til about 19 weeks then start gradually mixing in the layer.

I think you should wait a few more weeks. And then mix it half and half.

Feed the mash until they begin to lay...then switch over to layer formula. If the bag of mash isn't gone yet by the time they begin to lay, you can go ahead & finish the bag, just add oyster shell free choice.
