Hey! A week ago I got my first ever flock that is 6 buff cochin chicks that were sold to me as 2 months old chicks but they seem younger than that. The seller told me that they are fully vaccinated but I don't know if I should trust that so I'm vaccinating them with ND-IB vaccine tomorrow (I have consulted a vet about it). The chicks are outside in dirt and grass almost for the entire day and then at night I put them inside in a dog kennel. Even though they have shown no signs of coccidiosis and are active but I still to be on the safe side and I want to give them this medication I got for cocci. Is it safe to do so and if it is please tell me how to and how much to give them.

Feed them medicated feed (with added Amprolium) - that's the preventative against coccidiosis. Amprolium teaches their bodies to fight cocci on their own. You haven't added your location though so I don't know if feed medicated with Amprolium is available in your area, but that's what you should look for.
