Can I treat my lawn?

I am on going on vacation for five days and I was wondering if I could treat my lawn with Weed & Feed before I go. My chickens will be off of it while I'm on vacation. Would that be okay, or should I not treat it?

I'd probably chance it but be sure there was a good rain before the chickens go out, or water thoroughly.

I would not use ANY chemicals on my property. And that goes double if I use it for livestock.

When I think about using products around my home I ask myself, "Would I feed this to my animals?"

But I wouldn't use that stuff even wo/ birds. Hey, it's California, so I gotta be Le Natural, it's an unwritten law.
