I had a very good yellow lab that had no prey drive. Did not like to hunt. She never bothered any of my chickens then 1 day she picked up 1 and went to her kennel with it. It was not seriously hurt but its feathers were quite ruffled. I guess I am trying to say that you can truly never be sure that a dog will never hurt or worry the birds. Yours is interested so please watch closely.
