Can I turn off the light?

My 3 week old meaties are in a small tractor outside. They have lots of feathers, but aren't all the way. Night time temperatures are about 40. Can I turn out the heat lamp at night yet and get them into the big tractor? These birds are HUGE and it's time to make the switch.

I would think at 3 weeks they're still pretty little to be in 40 degree conditions without heat.

I'd keep the heat on them at night for awhile.
