Can I use a Reptile Incubator for Chicken Eggs (Reptipro5000)

Hello, I know this is an old thread, but I looked on 'think geek', to try to find reptihatch/pro and Im unable to lacate it. Do you know where I can find this incubator? And do you still think this is a good incuabtor for chicken eggs? Thank u

it is pretty small. But it will run off the cigarette lighter in the car, maybe I will take it on vacation with me. I have hatched chicken eggs, it does work for that. Note, I bought mine on eBay.

Hello, Lucky you that you got a Suro for this cheap, I wanted one but know there $385 on jmt I cant find anyone else that sells them. I guess they've become real popular

Well, I hate to be the negative one, but I was not impressed after several very poor hatches from my reptipro. I had maybe 10% hatch rates with it.

The temperature difference between the bottom and the top was too much, and the temp varied too much.

Then to top it off, the dang thing QUIT completely during a hatch! Lost that whole batch. I guess the heating element went out. All the info about where I purchased it was on my old computer that crashed, so I guess I am just out of luck on the darn thing. Frankly, at this point I wouldn't recommend it.

Hello, Need a little help, I went onto Thinkgeek.com and cant find this cooler warmer fridge/ reptipro/ hatch. So I called thinkgeek.com they said they need the specific name for it or an item# rrrr. Does anyone know the specifc name or item#? Maybe they just dont carry anymore

Please please please please don't get one! I've only had mine since December and have only used it 5 times and it doesnt work at all know. And their customer service SUCKS!
I still have that Piece of junk because apparently they don't make them anymore. My LG works better.
