Shes not laying and hasn't laid one since she molted in oct. I'm just asking incase she gets better and does lay. It's probably jumping to ahead.

She most likely has a laying type infection going on... Something like EYP or internal laying.
I would not worry about egg withdrawal when it comes to medicine use.

It's easier to try and prevent these type of illnesses than it is to try and cure one which is usually not possible.

The number one easiest thing to do to prevent these type of things is to feed your chickens a balanced diet.
A balanced diet does not include treats often.

Can she take baytril tablets? A friend of mine thinks she has 22mg tablets.

Also this is my friend's calculations. Would this be what you recommend?

So she is 3.5 lbs. Converted to kilograms, she is 1.59 kgs.

They give 2 doses either 10 mg per kilogram or 15 mg per kg.

If you select 15 mg per kilogram we take her weight of 1.59 kilograms x the 15 mg and we get 23.85 mgs.

If they are 22 mg tablets we could do 22mg by mouth times how many days they say.

Sorry she is so sick. It's probably not blackhead because they don't usually slowly waste away with blackhead. You could try the API General Cure, but I don't think it will help. If she were mine I would try a Hail Mary and treat with Baytril & tube feed her.

I started my girl on the API last night. This morning she had a big mess of really watery poop and she is not acting right. She keeps moving her head weird, curling her toes, not eating anything at all. She is worse now and I'm freaking out. My daughter said she is acting dizzy. I just syringe some poultry cell in her. Did I just do something to her? I feel I just killed my chicken or is this a effect of the API? Could it run out of her system?
