The bullies in the flock have pecked out most of her crown feathers out and some on her chest.

We used purple stuff we had on her chest and I ordered Blu Kote for her.

Can we use it on her head??

We planned to use a q-tip to keep it out of her eyes.

Any suggestions /experience???

She is still in with the others, although what we believe were the culprits were sold a couple weeks ago.

She goes crazy to get back in with the flock when we take her out.

2 Light Brahma, 2 Leghorns, 2 Rhode Island Reds and Claire are all in the larger coop.

We have another Silky and two easter eggers at the other end separated by a gate between runs.

I think everyone has plenty of room. We used purple stuff on her chest and I ordered blue coat since it also
disinfects.

Can I use it on her head????

Hello in Oceanside! I lived there in 82-85 when my husband was in the Marine Corp. Beautiful place.
Whenever I have a bird being picked on, I put a little glob of Vicks on the spot. The others learn real quick it tastes nasty and leave them alone.

Beautiful setup!
Yes, you can use it on her head. I've found using a qtip makes it much easier to apply if it's on the head, comb or somewhere near the eyes.
