Can I use my chicken wormers on my cat?

I absolutely hate spending the ridiculous amount of money that Advantage and Frontline cost to treat my cat monthly for fleas and ticks. I don't think he has worms right now but I do think he may have fleas. I just bought Eprinex pour on for deworming my chickens and getting rid of parasites. Can I use that on the cat too, just to cover my bases?

TIA!

I'm definitely no expert in wormers, but I would suspect the answer would be a big no. If one of my dogs or cat ate something like that accidentally I'd call the vet immediately. I would think it would be toxic. Different animals need different kinds and doses of medicine.

I have heard of kennel owners using ivomec pour-on for dog treatment, but cats may be a different thing. They are usually more sensitive, but I have a 100# dog that we only use halfstrength flea treatment on because of sensitive skin.
