Can I use pine nuggets in my run????????

My wood shaving are falling through the hardware cloth so I was thinking of adding some pine bark nuggest around the perimeter. Will this harm them/ will they eat them?

Yes you can use pine nuggets. No they won't eat them, and no it won't harm them.
