Another source of calcium could be crushed eggshells from your chickens. Again, fed free-choice in a separate container. After using the eggs, I rinse off the eggshells, let them drip dry, then microwave them for about 1 minute. Some folks put them on low temp in the oven to dry. Not sure how much calcium or in what particular 'nutritional form' the eggshells provide for my hens but they do use them, along with free-choice crushed oystershells.
