Can I use this to maintain Humidity?

I was thinking putting water on the bottom and letting the eggs sit on top to provide humidity for the eggs (they are hatching now)!
 
yes you could use it but it might cause problems, if she chicks can climb out there is a serious risk of them falling out and snapping their necks.You could make some kind of a barrier that is a bit taller so they can't climb out.
 
I would think that would be over kill on the humidity. I would imagine a 80-90% range, but if ya do it, please let us know how it went.
