Can it get to high? Help with humidity!

My humidity is ALWAYS at like 80% will it hurt my duck eggs if its to high?! Thanks!

BTW I have had no problems so far, all eggs are forming great! Except one egg

and I just emptied the water trays and put les water in. I hope that helps...... Thanks!
 
It can indeed be too high. I don't know about duck eggs, but I know for chicken eggs that is WAY too high. If kept that high the chicks will drown when they break the inner membrane and try to breathe.

Humidity is from surface area of the tray, so putting less water probably wont solve the problem.
Is there more than one tray? You used the word "trays". Maybe try just filling one.
What kind of incubator?
does it have plugs that can be removed?
 
Its a still air hova bator. Yes, it has to red plugs.
