Can Jersey giants be speckled like barred rock?

Some time ago a gal sold us a couple chickens that she said were jersey giants. At that time I had never heard of jersey giants, and I was sure these birds were barred rocks because they were speckled just like a barred rocks.
A family member also said that she had seen an advertisement for "speckled jersey giants" , Personally I think they are barred rocks. So what do you think? do speckled jersey giants exists?

looks like the only accepted by the USA standard of perfection is all black or all white.

there are other colors, but those are the only ones accepted.

If they're speckled, they would look like a speckled sussex, not barred like a rock.

Jersey Giants, I believe, only come in Black and White, as stated above. I know that there's Blue as well, but I don't know if its official yet or not. I've never heard of a speckled or barred jersey giant.

Maybe they're talking about Blue Splash Jersey Giants? I have seen breeders that offer them, but they aren't an "official" color.

JG come in black, white, blue and splash.
Barred rocks are barred not speckled.
If it is barred like a barred rock it isn't a JG.

There was a hen that looked exactly like him,, however I think she got an egg stuck and passed over the great divide..
