Can my baby stay outside?

I have tried to put him with several ducks at a pond....he hated the pond because he doesn’t like things to touch his feet in the water and wanted to be around people. My bf and I are very active outside and yes of course he would come in and out of the house as well because the kitties love him too

I would start looking now. Do you have his outdoor set up built already?

I have a 7 foot chain link fence/ dog run I will put a tarp over part of it and he has his pool. The only thing I’m lacking is a house for him which is why he is not a full time outside duck

Try a dog house or carrier crate. I have a plastic playhouse for my ducks. However, if you have minks, weasels, etc they can squeeze through chain link so you would need to add to it or take your chances. My fencing would allow such predators in. I do lock my poultry up at night so at least they are safe then. Plus, I have an electric wire to help. It won't help with weasels though. Good luck.

All we have is stray cats that run around and I will def lock him up at night
