I am growing out a straight run of 9 bantam sized EE - I am, of course, bound to have a roo or 2,3, or 4. They will be re-homed. They are 4 weeks old tomorrow.

I have another order from Ideal of 15 LF sized EE. I ordered all pullets, and they are due to ship on April 21.

But I was wondering if I kept one of the bantam EE roosters - would he be able to cover (that's what we call it with horses - I have no idea what to call breeding with chickens) the LF sized hens?

Just wondering....

I have a smallish LF Ameraucana that gets the job done with a Delaware that is MUCH larger than him. It can happen.

I think it should be able to. It depends on how big the hen is. My Silkies can not do standard hens, but I had a bantam Easter-egger that did the standards with no problem.
