Just thought I would add this- people can contract mycoplasma from chickens. The symptoms are flu like, and difficult to get rid of. It is also, difficult to contract, however if you get any fluids from an infected Mycoplasma chicken you could get sick. Antibiotics treat mycoplasma in chickens as well as humans.

Well, I checked out info on lyme and microplasma and neither one fits. Even my dh has it. But, I have decided not to get rid of all my birds because of this but I will be more careful in the future when cleaning the coop. Thanks everybody!!
