Can my chickens have a taranula[sp] that was just killed?

Ewwww...I've read others talk about their chickens eating spiders. I don't know how much more venom a taran. has than a typical wolf spider??? Sorry, I'm no help, but I'm interested.... my guess is that they would be okay, but I'm such a "chicken" myself that I'd probably not allow it if possible to prevent it...

So how did it go? My ladies eat spiders all the time but I don't think we have tarantulas out here. Plenty of Black Widows though. They have no hesitation at all with moving things.

My mom said not to feed it to them cu she did'nt want any venomin the eggs.
