I have 10 chicks at 5 weeks of age currently living in my basement brooder. It has been so hot out lately and I feel it's high time they were out of my house! 
I live in western NC and it has been in the upper 80s during the day and upper 50s to mid 60s at night. I let them outside during the day as it is, but will they be ok without a lamp at night?
