I am about halfway done with their house. They are 5 weeks old tomorrow and plan to finish their enclosure by tomorrow. Is it ok if I put them outside in the enclosure with food and water during the day? It is about 85 degrees at its highest and about 72 at the lowest. Would it be ok for them to be put outside in the enclosure during the day? This is what it looks like as of today:

That sounds fine, just watch for signs that they may be cold.
Ok good. I don’t think they will get cold as I said it gets about 72-75 at the coldest. It’s getting hotter every day here in the south so I don’t think it will be an issue but I will definitely look out for that.

I think they will be okay!! If they seem too cold (huddled up or shivering) I would suggest putting a heat lamp out there with them so they can enjoy the fresh air while remaining warm :thumbsup

Ok great! I think they will enjoy having a 6x6 house outside instead of a little tote inside.

I agree! My ducks love to forage and explore even if its just an outdoor pen or a small area! They will very much enjoy the outdoors.
