Can my ducks fly away?

Hello, I have two 14 week old ducks that are both cayuga/mallard. My ducks can both fly, but have never flown higher than 6ft and longer than 15ft across. They also fly at least once every other day, so very frequently. Now my question is can my ducks fly away? The reason they might not have flown off already is maybe because of one of these possibilities.
1.They are comfortable at our homestead
2.They are a bit two heavy of long flights because of their cayuga half
3.Since they are pet ducks there wings might not be as strong as wild ducks
I don't know if they will ever be able to fly better than what they already can, and if so should I clip their wings?

They can fly away if something really scared them, you might want to clip a wing.
