Can my sex link be a rooster?

Statistically half of all sexlinks are roosters. :p

You just got to pick out the hens. At 4 weeks, doesn't look too rooish yet. Probably a sexlink with lots of leghorn in it's past, but it's not a pure leghorn for sure.

I was just at the farm store and the coloring does look like the leghorns they have there.... oh well, if it starts crowing then we will know!
thanks for all of your help!

You will probably be able to tell better in another couple weeks or so. I am not convinced it is a roo at this point. One of my friends had a sexlink that was mostly white as a young chick, but ended up being a hen and coloring in nicely. So, ya never know. One thing with chickens, time will def. tell if we are patient enough for it.

I have 9 RSL roos. 5 have red speckles/streaks on the wings. 4 don't. The 4 that don't are white with areas of very light buff/bronze coloring just like your photo. And at 7 weeks old, they all have well-developed red combs and wattles.
