There are a thousand posts on here about LG and the problems with them. If you can get it to stay 100 you are doing better rhan most. What thermometer are you using? I had 3 diff. ones all made by LG. Throw them away!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All 3 WRONG!!!!! I got a hygro/thermometer wireless for $25 at lowes. You can get them cheaper. I just liked the one I got. Mine fluctuated from 99.2-101.1 As long as its as close to 100 as possible your good. Search the posts and threads about LG. Its ok. But not any place close to trustworthy. Expect temp spikes! mine would spike to 102.... but it only last a lil while. not long enough to cause damage. Just monitor it. try not to keep adjusting. Its just too hard. Try to use the plugs for minor adjustments. Mine did ok. It lasted long enough to find a better one. You will get alot of advice all over the spectrum. Most against the LG. Mine just took alot of trial and error. minor changes. adding tubs of water. removing or adding plugs. super minor nob adjustments. Give it atleast 1 hour between adjustments for everything to come to temp, befor checking. This is just what I had to do. I had 14 of 16 hatch.

Good Luck and God Bless!!!

used the LG. Very worried but it worked. It took alot of work to use the LG. Add wadded paper towels when going into lockdown. place them under the small vent holes in each corner. then you can inject water into the holes onto the towels to increase humidity. I also added as many small pans under the wire as I could fit.

Good Luck and God Bless!

OH yeah!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!

Take temps at egg level. Mine was 102 ontop of eggs, 99.5 at wire mesh level, and 86 in bottom of floor!

Good Luck and God Bless!

The lil sensor unit I got fit over 1 of the egg cups in the turner. That way you get a good reading. If not the temp can actually be different from the top to the bottom of the egg. aslong as it averages as close to 99.5-100 your gold! Slightly less might just add a day or so to hatch. over 102 in't good. 103-104 can be deadly if for more than a few minutes. There are exceptions to everything and this is nature not exact science. We can give them the best possible enviroment but nature is still unpredictable.
Good Luck and God Bless!
