i can not figure for the life of me who lays what in my young flock of 9 weeks +, so can a button quail hen lay more than one egg a day, like two a day? is it possible? thank you :)

Nope, button eggs take up a lot of room in those hens, just laying one is very tiring. I've never encountered more than one egg a day with mine, but I'm curious if someone owns one that does this (poor hen!)
than it means i have three hens and i can not figure out who they are, i feel stupid, when is the vent sexing true age wise?

I have 2 young hens (9.5 weeks old) and this morning there were FOUR eggs in there and not hidden anywhere either, just lying right out there in the open. I 100% didn't miss any before and they are extremely spoiled pet quail They are on quail breeder pellets with added calcium, get oyster shell, vitamin water with D3, millet, fresh fruit/veg and black soldier fly larvae They only started laying a few days ago, no lash eggs/fairy eggs at all First one egg, then none the next day, then one, then I found four and I thoroughly cleaned every inch of the enclosure each time

Physically, yes, Biologically, no!
A hen can delay laying an egg if under stress, trying to escape a predator, or not familiar with new surroundings.

On average, it takes 22 to 24 hours for an egg to go through all the egg laying processes.
Within a few hours of the first ovum being released and traveling through the reproductive tract, another ovum is released, if the first ovum (egg) is delayed from being layed, then the second ovum continues through the reproductive system and will be layed approximately 12 to 14 hours after the first egg was layed....appearing to have layed 2 eggs in 1 day (24 hour) period.

Example
: 1st egg is layed at 4 or 5am, the 2nd egg is layed between 6 or 8pm.
