my brother had a container full of canned corn that he was fishing with and told me to take it. It has been in my fridged and I am getting ready to clean that out so I am trying to figure out what I can give the chicks. The main thing is that container of corn.

If it were me I def would give it to them .... I just gave my chicks 2 ears of corn leftover from memorial day BBQ..... They have been in fridge all this time, kernels are shrively but no mold.

Okay, it's getting late now, nearly their bedtime I can hear them getting restless outside in the run, so I will give it to them in the morning.

It is okay to give them corn on the cob, but check the canned corn to see the sodium content first. Salt can be toxic and canned veggies usually have lots of salt.

Umm, it's not in the can anymore, it s in another container. It's been in my fidge for a few weeks but is not moldy or anything.

My birds live for corn. Once a week we get my 4 y/o daughter one of those Kid Cuisine frozen meals as a special treat and she hates the corn, so I give it to the chickens still frozen. They go nuts over it.
