I keep seeing photos of peacocks together in a pen. Can the males stay together and not fight? Even with peahens in the same pen?

Since I haven't any and am thinking of getting some one day, I thought to ask this. I do not put roosters in pens together with any hens around because of fighting so I wondered about peafowl.

Yes if they have plenty of room, i keep all my extra peacocks together even with all yearling peahens and yearly peacocks. they with set pecking order.

I have room to build a very large set of pens but I really just want pets. I do not care to breed them but I have a few people that have gotten young peachicks and now wonder what to do with them. So I figure I may be able to adopt them. I just wondered what to do about too many males.

I am learning a lot from this forum on Peacocks and will try to glean as much info as possible. Much better than magazines though there may be a few good books on the birds.
