Hallo Peacock lovers,

I see today that my Peahen is without head feathers!

is that a force from the peacock to mate her ?

2 days ago she is just laying in the coop and i was thinking maybe she want to lay eggs and today i see her laying in the same place and without head feathers

Welcome to BYC!

Sounds like the male might be picking on her. Catch her and check her really well for wounds.

Are you sure she is not sick?
Is she eating and drinking?
Can she get up and walk around?

When birds mate, the male grasps onto the females head feathers for balance, often pulling them out, and if you only have a pair it is possible that your male is overmating the female.
Can you post a picture?
*Edited to say can you post a picture of the female where she is now?*
