can puppy catch anything from sick chicken

I just lost a chicken and anither one appears to be losing weight too

I have a 8 week old puppy. Not near the chickens but should there ve any concern

No, not really a concern although I guess they can share cocci, and salmonella maybe-if they have it. But most chicken stuff is limited to chickens. Chicken lice won't live on a dog.
