My rabbit has been liveing with my chickens for like 3-4 months. He's been eating my chickens layena. Is this ok for him? He seems healthy and he thinks he's a chicken.

I would not recommend that for rabbit feed but I do not think it will hurt him.

My bunnies have decided they will only eat chicken feed (and a bit of alfalfa hay and of course any grass they choose to nibble). It has been like this for MONTHS and they are fine- healthy and happy. I still offer the bunny pellets but they hate them. Oh well.

I've feed mine pellets out of desperation and he's none the worse. I did give him some timothy hay and a little apple.

Apparently mixing bunnies and chickens is not fatal since I am looking at mine now out the window. Their living arrangement makes them happy. And no one has coccidia.

My rabbits always have their pellets out, but sometimes they prefer the chicken feed. They live together, so they share.

If you're not too worried about feeding your rabbit an unbalanced diet that may result in them dying from malnutrition, go right ahead.

Seems like this question gets asked every couple of weeks. I need to stop responding!
