We discovered that our kingsnake has mites... UGH
The only thing we an figure is that they were in the bedding and unfortunately we use the same bag of shavings for both him and the chickens. I haven't noticed anything on the chickens but they're so small I'm not sure I would see them without looking for them unless they had gotten really bad. I'm going out today to get a bag of DE just to be safe but I'm curious, do reptile mites also infest birds or are these two separate types of parasites? I've googled it but can't find anything about that. Anyone know?
