Can Roosters Be kept with Peacocks?

I know that Roosters can be kept with Peahen, But can they be kept with Peacocks? The male peafowl.

I had free-ranging peafowl and roosters. I never saw a rooster attack them, though rarely a peahen would chase a rooster across the yard. Never saw it become more than a small kerfluffle.

Like with any bird they will establish a pecking order but after that yes they can. Just be sure to keep up with the worming and cocci treatments as needed.

Agreed, chickens can be walking germ factories for peafowl, especially when it comes to worms and blackhead.

I raise giant toms. If they mengle together early they are friends. If a new roo is interduced to an old tom, they will showdown. I am stepping out of bounds with peacocks.

Thought i'd share my experience. Our neighborhoods Rooster came over as a couple of there chickens did and didn't go back over for weeks. Then one day they sort of sandwiched through a small gap and the Peacock kicked him. After that he went back and hasn't been back since. Though there chickens are still here.

well, we have an oldest rooster about 7 years old and an4 year old peacock. the rooster and the peacock gets along but when the laying period begins. the fight begins,alway!!.
