Can show a chicken with crooked toes?

Probably yes, but it will count heavily against him. However, it should be OK to use the chicken for junior showmanship where it is the handler being judged and not the bird.

Each crooked toe can deduct up to two points. Worst case scenario is losing 10 points out of 100, and in most breeds it would be 8 points max. If the judge deems the whole foot to be badly deformed, they could (should) DQ the bird.

So, figure out hw bad the toes really are and then decide. With two crooked toes and the rest fine, the bird could lose 1 to 4 points. Not much considering there are 100 points. Everything else being perfect

, the bird would be "graded" between 96 and 99%.
