I've lost more bantams to hawks than the bigger birds, but not 100%. The foxes, etc, will kill anyone, and so will dogs or any larger predator. My white Chanteclers have done better than some of the darker slower birds too. It's luck and skill both!
Generally the hens who crouch die, unless well hidden. Birds who fly up do better against ground predators, depending. At night, all chickens are 'sitting ducks'.
