Can someone help me? how do I make a good candler?

I just have a flashlight that I use, and I have seen a lot of posts regarding testing the fertility? I am not able to tell until probably day 7 at least if they have anything in them. I tried using a 40 watt light bulb, covered by a cup, but it was very warm...I was afraid of cooking the poor things!

I use a mini maglight flashlight and it works great. I have made a few candlers but I always end up melting something or burning something even with a 25 watt bulb.

YOu can get a cool lite tester from GQF for 9.95 and they work great. You can candle the eggs with out taking the out of the turner. You can order online
