This chicken was terrorizing a subdivision with his frequent crowing. I was called on to remove the bird. The bird is over 10 lbs and extremely gentle. He crows incessantly. From the one picture can anyone give me an idea what general breed is this Roo?

Looks like a blue orpington or Australorp. Possibly a sapphire gem, but heavily leaning towards orpington based on size.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm keeping the roo for a week or so to see if anyone in the Rossville Ga area claims him. He is very gentle and has a real weight of 8.8 lbs. I was called to pick him up brefore a coyote or fox got him.

Check bottom of foot color! Yellow, probably Jersey Giant and white, pink Australorp or Orpington most likely
