Hi again!:o please can somebody help me? anybody there who could give me advices what to do? On the fotos are my 2 eggs.. today at day 16..I just worried about the aie cells..aren't they far to small so shortly before hatching? Would anybody please help me?!
I kept them at 40-55 humidity and now just that moment decreased to 25-30.

Sorry I have never incubated or candled eggs. Put "candling chart" in the search box. I know someone said there is one and it shows what you would see at different days and explains.

Hi :welcome

Here is a chart for the size of air sac during incubation ~

I have to say that yes they do look a little small and you have done the right thing by lowering it. For me upto 55% is too high and that's probably why they have not lost enough moisture. I try keep mine between 40-45 % and monitor air cells during incubation. Small spikes are not bad it's more the average you need over the entire incubation period. You could keep your humidity lower an extra day and bump it up on day 19 rather than day 18.

Wishing you the very best of luck with your eggs :fl

Thank you so much for your help :D so great! I'll let the humidity down till 19th day.. hopefully they'll hatch!
I have another question.. day 19.. should I increase it in the morning or afternoon or evening?
And an othet question ..stop turning is in mornig of day 19?
I set them on monday 25th mai but late at night..
Thank you very vey much again!

Any time day 19 is ok to put the humidity up. You can stop turning day 18 though so the chicks can get into position for hatch as a normal lockdown. Turning is only critical during the first 14 days as the embryo develops. By day 14 all its parts should be fully developed. Turning keeps the nutrients moving in the egg and helps all parts develop in the correct position.

Hi everybody :D I guess the air cells are much better now :)))) yeeee!!! I candeled them for the very last time today in the morning, marked the air cells with a pencil and went into lockdown (stop turning). I let the humidity from day 16 till now on 25 and will increase it tomorrow at day 19 :D
Hopefully they'll hatch :D there is just one thing.. how high should I go with humidity now.. maybe 65 as long as the air cells were a bit small?
Are they ok now? Or should I go up to 70??
Your Jessy :)

PS the foto is taken from the side on witch the cell is bigger.. on the other side of the egg it's much smaller.. thanks for all your help ;) and advices :*
