I'm pretty sure they're a female, but they have this strange ring around the neck and I'm not sure if that means dark feathers might grow around the head? There's also the slightest little curve at the tail and I know normally males have that curve! Pasty's only about 6 weeks old now and I feel as if I should be able to sex them!

The curve in question:

Going off of what Miss Lydia said, you have to listen to the quack. Males have a raspier sound. Females have a louder tone "quack".

Based on bill color, might be male, but not a guarantee.
A drake feather will not appear until around 13 weeks.

Go based on voice, yes. At 6 weeks, females will have some type of loud quack, but may still peep a bit, and males will only have their baby peep.

How pretty by now you should be able to tell by voice females quack drakes sound like they have a frog in their throats.
Her voice is kind of confusing, most of the time when she sees me, she chirps but then when she doesn't it's kind of quack like, but a little raspy?

Yeah, my duck chirps when they see me but then when they're alone they normally make a loud raspy sounding quack, almost like they don't really know how to quack

Buff Orpington ducks boast a yellow bill on a drake and a shade of brown to orange on a hen.
Yeah, my ducks bill is orange, but at the top there's a brown coloration and I'm not sure if it's gonna fade into the beak or fade out of the beak
