3 years ago, I rescued a gosling from our local lake. (She was unable to stand or walk and was half drowning in a shallow marsh, nowhere near any grassy nesting areas. She appeared domestic and to have been dumped there. It was around Easter when people get chicks and ducks for fun and then dump them out in the country)
Anyway, fast forward three years later, she is a happy, healthy goose, but a single one! She has laid a clutch of eggs the past two years and I'd like to get her a goose mate she can attach to /breed with rather than tagging along with the dogs all day.
I am unsure of her breed though! I attached a pic. She is much smaller than a Toulouse. She has a pink bill and feet and a single lobe. She is able to fly short distances--off the porch or across the yard.
Pilgrim? Cotton Patch? Help!
